I was so excited when I was setting at my work desk
this week and saw the new design challenge. Not only was the timing
perfect for me, but I know I will use this layout idea for future
cards. Love it!
I was buried in scraps, as I was working hard on
getting 80 card kits made for my Card Buffet later in the week. Of
course, I was working with one of my favorite new DSP- Polka Dot Parade.
I have really been wanting to use the Button
Buddies Stamp Set, and saw this as a perfect opportunity to tie in the
Polka Dots and Buttons. The best thing was, beside the Whisper White
card base, the rest of the card was completed with SCRAPS!!! I even
pulled out my new Cannery Framelits Dies to
make the greeting appear to be in the shape of a cherry. I know… kinda
silly, but it’s all in the details!!

I love this card! I really like the buttons as the cherries. I will have to check out that stamp set. I am liking the polka dot paper, too.
ReplyDeleteRobyn- Thanks!! It was one of our most popular sets last year!! Really cool. And that polka dot paper is a fave of mine. It is the one I used to make the Perfectly Penned cards at the Lawrence Crop!!
